The content on the Site is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute a contract or guarantee of any specific result. All work is subject to a written agreement signed by both parties before work begins.
All estimates provided by H&C Fortuna Foothills Concrete are based on conditions observed during an on-site visit and information provided by the customer at the time of the estimate. Estimates are not final pricing - they become binding only when both parties sign a written contract.
If site conditions differ from those observed at the time of the estimate - including but not limited to subsurface soil conditions, hidden obstructions, or access limitations - the contract price may be adjusted. Any changes to scope or price after signing will be documented in a written change order agreed to by both parties.
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the written estimate unless otherwise stated. Material and labor costs can change, and quotes older than 30 days may require revision.
Scheduling is subject to crew availability, permit timelines, and weather conditions. Concrete work cannot safely proceed in extreme heat, high winds, rain, or temperatures likely to fall below freezing within the curing window. We will notify you as early as possible if a scheduled date needs to change due to weather.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid if materials have already been ordered or work has been arranged for that date. Specific cancellation terms will be stated in your written contract.
Payment terms are outlined in the written contract for each job. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins to cover materials and scheduling. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late fee as stated in the contract. H&C Fortuna Foothills Concrete reserves the right to withhold final completion documentation until payment is received in full. Non-payment may result in a mechanics lien being filed against the property in accordance with Arizona law.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the property, existing conditions, and any known utility lines or underground obstacles before work begins. The customer is also responsible for notifying their homeowners association of planned work and obtaining any required HOA approvals before the project start date.
The work area must be cleared of vehicles, personal property, and obstructions on the scheduled work date. Failure to provide clear site access may result in rescheduling and potential additional charges.
Where required, H&C Fortuna Foothills Concrete will apply for necessary permits through the appropriate authority - typically Yuma County Development Services for work in Fortuna Foothills and other unincorporated areas. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in the estimate. Permit timelines are controlled by the issuing authority and are outside our control.
H&C Fortuna Foothills Concrete warrants its workmanship for the period specified in the written contract for each project. Warranty coverage applies to defects in workmanship under normal use conditions and does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, misuse, acts of nature, soil movement not attributable to our work, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Hairline cracking in concrete surfaces is a normal characteristic of concrete and is not covered by workmanship warranty. Warranty claims must be reported in writing within the warranty period. The Site and its content are provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, H&C Fortuna Foothills Concrete will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or from the provision of services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that project.
